As a 20+ year veteran of the entertainment industry, Michelle has produced a wide range of content in various formats, genres and media. Commercials, shorts, narrative features, web series, she's done it all!

 

During her tenure LA Cityview 35, Michelle has become the principle writer for weekly segments, and has taken the lead in producing award-winning short form vignettes series “LA Currents,” as well as our flagship 30-minute news magazine “LA This Week.”

Michelle’s studio experience includes working as a production coordinator for Creative Domain, Hollywood, and as an offline editor for TV Guide Hollywood. Finally, back in the day, Michelle ran the Transfer Desk as an assistant manager for Todd-AO Studios Hollywood.

 

Michelle has helped produce dozens of short films and web series. She worked for inkSpot Entertainment as producer, digital editor and director on the television's series "Everything I Did Wrong in My 20s"starring Tiffany Snow and “The Unwritten Rules” starring Aasha Davis of “Friday Night Lights” fame.

 

Recent short film projects to her credit include “The Smartest Dumb Girl” and “The R Word”, both written and directed by Angie Comer.

Her work in long form includes editor and post-production supervisor on the micro-budget films “Windstorm” directed by Kevin Kane, and “Life on a Leash” directed by Susan diRende.

As a true independent filmmaker, Michelle has completed two features films where she helmed the positions of writer, director, producer, and editor. The Road to Sundance, a tiny but charming, esoteric Rom-Com, that can be viewed on IMDB. She most recent feature film achievement garnered recognition from more than a dozen film festivals around the world. The LGTB romantic drama Better Half can be viewed on Amazon Prime.

 

Currently, Michelle serves as Executive Director of the Broad Humor Film Festival - the only festival featuring comedy films & scripts written and directed by women. In 2022, Broad Humor returns to its regularly scheduled event date of Labor Day Weekend.

 

Next up, Michelle is adapting and developing a promising fantasy film franchise project featuring YA novels by English author Geraldine Harris.
